Ideally we should aim to be ‘Carbon Neutral’ - meaning that none of our daily activities contribute in any way to the pollution of the
environment. However, to achieve this, we would have to be totally ‘off the grid’, generating our own electricity and disposing of
our own waste. We would also have to generate ‘carbon offsets’ to rectify the damage we generated by purchasing clothes or by our own
transportation.
Here in reality, living Carbon Neutral may not be an option. We can, however, work to reduce our Carbon Footprint. Here are a few
things we can do :
- Plant a tree.

- Shopping – Use your own bags at the grocery store.
